EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY: We believe that the public school exists for the primary purpose of fulfilling the educational needs of the people and community it serves. We believe that it is of utmost importance that every person becomes aware of her/his responsibility in our democratic society; therefore, the individual and her/his social and educational needs become the primary concern of the school. We believe in order to assume a share of the responsibility; each person m探花视频t develop powers of constructive and critical thinking as well as those of self-expression. The individual m探花视频t become self reliant and self-disciplined. We believe that in a secondary school the emphasis should be on general education with opportunities to begin training in areas of special interest. We believe that recognition of individual differences and proper guidance is essential to achieve our purposes. We believe that it is necessary to provide adequate flexibility in our school program so that both subject matter and manner of instruction may be adapted to the changing needs of our students. We believe, however, that the success of the school is measured not so much in terms of subject matter mastered and of skills acquired, but rather by the number of students who can successfully meet the problems encountered and live more satisfying lives.
Our mission is to Prepare each student to be successful. Student success requires the commitment and mutual accountability of students, parents, and educators. The School District of Loyal will provide an education which will promote the maximum intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of each learner and will help to develop individual talents to their fullest extent. This will be our highest educational priority. Students, teachers, support staff, administration and the Board of Education are all accountable for their part in achieving this mission.
