High Island lies in the extreme southeast corner of Galveston County and includes the unincorporated communities of High Island, Gilchrist, and Caplen. The district encompasses 54 square miles of land area and 135 square miles in the Gulf of Mexico. The district鈥檚 students attend one central camp探花视频 in High Island.
