The mission of the Carmichaels Area School District is for the school, home, and community to join forces in creating the desire for success through the achievement of academic standards and to encourage independent thinking. Carmichaels Area School District is located in Greene County, Pennsylvania and encompasses thirty-nine square miles. The district is comprised of the Borough of Carmichaels and Cumberland Township.
Central Greene School District became a merged district in 1962 when the Borough of Waynesburg and the townships of Perry, Whiteley, Franklin, Wayne and Washington agreed to the jointure. The district operates one elementary school K-5, one middle school 6-8 and one senior high school 9-12. A professional staff, teachers, support personnel and administrators are dedicated to providing the finest educational programs possible to the students of the Central Greene School District. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive education for all students to become successful critical thinkers as they enter a global society.
Greene County Career & Technology Center (GCCTC) is the technical center serving local area students for over 40 years. Our foc探花视频 is on seamless education, which we accomplish by breaking down barriers between high school and college, and between education and the workplace. To be employable in today鈥檚 global economy, between 70-80% of the workforce m探花视频t have technical training beyond a high school diploma, but not necessarily a full four-year degree. GCCTC has a strong history of providing quality, career-oriented education. Our graduates have the skills and knowledge that help them find jobs and success in their chosen careers. The Jefferson-Morgan School District is located in the southwestern corner of Pennsylvania. This rural school district is home to eight hundred thirty four (834) students, ranging from Pre-Kindergarden through grade twelve. The district is comprised of two (2) buildings, the Middle School/High School and the Elementary School, conveniently located in a beautiful camp探花视频 style setting.
