The AGWSR School District is comprised of the communities of Ackley, Geneva, Wellsburg and Steamboat Rock. The district covers nearly 265 square miles nestled in the heart of central Iowa. District facilities include two day care (early childhood) centers in the communities of Ackley and Wellsburg, a K-3 elementary in Ackley, a 4-8 middle school in Wellsburg and a 9-12 high school in Ackley. Certified enrollment for the district is approximately 650 students. We offer a variety of academic, athletic and co-curricular programming at the high school level. Academic offerings include the core and advanced requirements of English, science, social science and mathematics. In addition we offer five vocational programs (b探花视频iness, ind探花视频trial technology, agriculture, family and consumer science and automotives).
