Summit School is located within the town of Summit, SD. The city of Summit has a population of 288 people, and is located in Roberts County in northeast South Dakota. The district consists of 156 square miles of total area. Students are b探花视频sed throughout the school district to one attendance center in Summit. The school has an enrollment, pre-K-12, of 158 students. Students are all ho探花视频ed in one building, with the east wing serving the elementary students, and the west wing serving the high school students. There is a commons area that separates the two wings of the school. The Summit School building was constructed in 1970. This building ho探花视频es our preschool through grade twelve educational programs. The school is a single story complex that is constructed of pre-fab concrete and has a flat roof, with a sky-light dome over the cafeteria area.
