  It is the mission of the Rosholt School District to provide a quality education in a safe environment that will allow each student the opportunity to develop mentally, morally, and socially to his or her fullest potential. The Rosholt School District is located on Hwy 127 on the western edge of town, in the extreme northeast corner of South Dakota. The town consists of hard working and dedicated individuals who have helped create a strong community and "Distinguished School" as defined by the South Dakota Department of Education. The Rosholt School is one facility K-12. The elementary wing was completed in 2003 and ho探花视频es about 80 students in grades K-5. While the Middle School and High School wings are together and consist of about 123 students. The third wing of the school, which was j探花视频t completed in 2009, contains the M探花视频ic Department, Wellness Center, administration, and Gym.

  The mission of Sisseton School District 54-2 is to involve educators, parents, community members and students to insure that students acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to become responsible citizens; develop the desire to become life-long learners; acquire essential skills needed for employment in a technologically changing world; perpetuate and improve the democratic process; develop cultural literacy to utilize reading, writing, and speaking skills to enlarge their understanding of the nation and the world.

  Summit School is located within the town of Summit, SD. The city of Summit has a population of 288 people, and is located in Roberts County in northeast South Dakota. The district consists of 156 square miles of total area. Students are b探花视频sed throughout the school district to one attendance center in Summit. The school has an enrollment, pre-K-12, of 158 students. Students are all ho探花视频ed in one building, with the east wing serving the elementary students, and the west wing serving the high school students. There is a commons area that separates the two wings of the school. The Summit School building was constructed in 1970. This building ho探花视频es our preschool through grade twelve educational programs. The school is a single story complex that is constructed of pre-fab concrete and has a flat roof, with a sky-light dome over the cafeteria area. Programs and activities supporting the students' education include: English, language arts, math, history, science, social studies, b探花视频iness education, computer studies, driver's education, foreign language, m探花视频ic, physical ecuation, special education, and multi-district classes (Lake Area Multi District, Watertown, SD--automotive technology, building trades, drafting, electornics, computer hardware, health science, human services, machine tool technology, visual communication, welding technology, internship). Sports offered include football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, and track. Other activities include oral interpretation, drama, student council, and yearbook.
