Medicine Lake District #7 is a K-12 public, rural, fully OPI-accredited school. The Medicine Lake School District is located in the town of Medicine Lake in Sheridan County. Medicine Lake is located in the northeast corner of 鈥淏ig Sky鈥� Montana with a population of 400. Medicine Lake is named for Northeastern Montana鈥檚 largest natural lake, which features natural beauty and wildlife. The nearby Medicine Lake National Wildlife Refuge offers an opportunity for hunting, fishing, boating, ornithology, and photography. Medicine Lake is classified as a Class C school district for participation in the Montana High School Association activities program.
