About School District: Welcome to Bark River-Harris (BR-H) School District.聽We serve students from Delta and Menominee Counties.聽We are located in the CST time zone, but observe the EST time zone.聽We are located in Menominee County, but have students attending the Delta-Schoolcraft Intermediate School District.聽Students attending our school primarily live in Bark River, Schaffer, Harris, or Wilson.聽鈥淪chool-of-Choice鈥� students, who are from surrounding districts, are an extension of our community.Our district is a forward-thinking district. During the 2011/2012 school year, we purchased Smartboard Technology for each classroom. For the 2012/2013 school year, we are installing wireless technology throughout the district, upgrading our entire server system, creating a student center w/ ala' carte offerings for our high school, and we also purchased a portable classroom in which we plan to convert into a computer lab. Providing our students with opportunities to be successful is a top priority for our staff. Qualifying students have the option of attending college courses as a dual enrolled student as well as a variety of on-line course offerings.We offer all day/everyday kindergarten and our elementary school participates in the MiBLSi grant. We have seen tremendo探花视频 results in our reading achievement and significant decreases in disruptive behaviors since this grant was introduced. Last year at this time, I wrote..."We are confident that we will soon become a leader among other MiBLSi schools throughout the state". I'd say that if this school year is anything like last school year, we are well on our way to becoming the leader I spoke of
