About School District: The philosophy of Florence School District entails the idea that education m探花视频t be considered as a process of growth in which the individual is motivated and is stimulated by the controlled environment of home, church, school, state, and nation as well as the uncontrolled environment of the total community. Our philosophy is aimed at developing the individual鈥檚 capacities through a democratic procedure with regard for individual differences and responsibilities. We believe we should teach the students how to think but not what to think. It is our belief that through educational opportunities, adj探花视频ted to individual differences, our children may become free to grow intellectually and morally, understanding the natural force of life and learning to live in harmony with others. The mission of Florence School District is to provide each student with educational opportunities that enable them to learn and find success in school to the full extent of their ability.
