Question by Louise Duda (1 month ago): Dear Superintendent and Schoolboard Members, I would be appalled if schools in our district followed the harmful anti DEI initiatives and found banners like All Are Welcome Here to be unacceptable, as has happened already in Idaho. I plead with you to follow the wishes of most Vermonters and resist the request to eliminate DEI programs or risk losing federal funding! Do not succumb to pressure from Trump’s anti woke rhetoric. Do what’s best for our students and join with the millions who are protesting and resisting and the many other states that are ref̽»¨ÊÓƵing to follow blindly and are filing suits. As a former Mill River teacher who taught the ca̽»¨ÊÓƵes and consequences of the Holoca̽»¨ÊÓƵt for many many years and co-led  a school wide, year long educational program, I do not want to see our school following the same path as those who were afraid to speak up. Make this viewpoint known to Ms Zoie Sanders and our attorney general and do not succumb to this blackmail. Respectfully, Louise Duda Shrewsbury, VT
